neopa Radio is now accepting programming proposals.

 

Programming Proposal Information                  

Anyone in our community is welcome to submit.   Proposals should be one page in length and include:

 

1.) the type of show you would like to produce (music, talk, etc.)
2.) the length of the show
3.) why you feel the show belongs on neopa Radio & how it fits the station's mission
4.) all contact information
5.) when you are available and NOT available to be on the air

If your program is chosen, you will be required in the future to attend an FCC and music licensing information training session, and sign a Programmer's Agreement, which outlines, among other things, the volunteer time commitment required to be a programmer. This is time IN ADDITION to the time spent producing and airing your program. For programmers with no radio experience, training sessions will be held on how to DJ, and how to produce short production pieces.

 

neopa and neopa Radio are open to everyone regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, political or religious affiliation.

To have a show on neopa Radio, you must be at least 18 years of age or have the approval of a parent or legal guardian.

Because we plan to be a community radio station based in the  Canton / Stark County area, locally produced programs will have priority.  All programming content also must comply with FCC and music licensing requirements.

 

Programs should be "original". It's your show, do all you can to make it truly your own.
 

neopa Radio is being designed to serve sections, needs and interests of our community that currently do not have access to the airwaves. We also want our programming to be unique and to not duplicate what is already available on our local airwaves.

 

Proposals may be submitted to neopaorg@gmail.com. Don't hesitate to submit a proposal; the schedule is continually in flux and schedule openings may appear at any time.
